Project Layout

The first thing our design team would like to know is the area of application and its dimensions. The drawing specifying the same can be provided in the form of Autocad, hand drawn, a picture etc. The drawing has to be clear about all dimensions i.e. horizontal, vertical including openings.

Design Selection

The next step is to identify the design. It can be selected either from the PALLADIO catalogue or can be custom made refering from any inspiration – a digital image file, a photograph, a sketch, a fabric swatch, an artwork of logos or word. Here while selecting design we should keep in mind viewing distance, design dimension and the intricacies of the design which influence the selection of mosaic format.

Colour Selection

Once the design is selected, our design team seeks the advise of the specifier / client in suggesting the colours to be used from the PALLADIO colour palette. Such selection should do justice to the selected design, surrounding ambience and helps in truthful realization of your visualization.

Design Elaboration

After receiving the above three inputs, our design team will transform the idea into a customised artwork presentation using the mosaic
graphic softwares. The same is then sent to the specifier / client for approval.

Samples

We also provide samples on case to case basis as per request of specifier / client. Such sample helps the client to have a better look & feel of the product. On approval from client / specifier, orders are processed.

Design Production

Upon approval from client, the design is taken for production. Each mosaic being unique in look, colour, shape and size is assembled as perthe “Production Plan”.

Mosaic is assembled using “LinkTec”, state-of-the-art innovative technology through Robot, wherein polyurethane links are created at the back of the mosaics (BML). Besides, the above mosaic can also be assembled using conventional way i.e. on Paper, wherein paper is glued on the face of mosaic (FMP).

Upon production each sheet is numbered in excel format. Each design is later individually laid on the shop floor for quality checks before it is packed for dispatch.

Project Installation

Since every installation is customized and unique, installation is done at site based on the type of assembling:

For FMP (Face Mounted on Paper) assembled sheets :
(a) “Dry Laying Plan (Mirror View)” is used for the dry laying of sheets to check the design before installation.
(b) “Installation Plan” is used to ensure proper positioning of the sheets for installation.

For BML (Back Mounted on Link) assembled sheets :
“Installation Plan” is used for the dry laying of sheets to check the design before installation and as well as for proper positioning of the sheets for installation.

This will ensure accurate installation of the sheets to realise the design and to avoid any mistake during installation.
